OUFC Players Fundraise For Pandemic Relief

Even with the season on hold due to the global pandemic, Oaklyn United players pulled together to lend a hand. The squad made a team donation to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, which provides direct support to vulnerable communities in the state.

Inspired by @jhenderson’s #PlayersTogether initiative, and by the sacrifices of our local frontline workers here in NJ, the players of OUFC banded together to make a team contribution to the @njprf. Chaired by @firstladynewjersey, the NJ Pandemic Relief Fund is directly assisting with the medical, social, and economic needs faced by the state’s most vulnerable residents as COVID-19 continues to impact our communities. Together, the Lions were able to contribute more than $300 to the fund.
